Marina would like to welcome you to Meanderine farm stay accommodation which
is 40 minutes from Meanderine Farm / Park stay offers a unique opportunity to
experience a life with many friendly and interesting animals including 5
sheep, 3 ponies, 4 horses, 7 donkeys, 2 poodles, 2 Labradors & 4
Labradoodles (1st generation), 6 cats, many ducks & geese, 3 rabbits, 1
guinea fowl, 9 turkeys, 10 cattle + 5 baby dairy calves, a large variety of
rare birds and 1 pig. Our farm is a delight for both children and adults to
stay and enjoy. Our farm operates on green energy, which is produced by many
solar panels which collect energy from the sun, which then charge the
batteries for use in our house. Water is heated by a solar water heating
system located on the roof, and our wood burner provides central heating
which also heats the hot water in Winter. The energy & heating system is
highly efficient and is capable of producing as much energy as is needed for
a conventional house. The farm offers guests a colourful display of flora each
season. The garden highlights of each season include hot pokers &
beautiful roses in Summer, red toadstools & red oak leaves in Autumn, and
daffodils, cherry blossom & fragrant yellow flowers of the wattle trees
that line our long & winding driveway in Spring. The many friendly animals and lovely views make this an ideal
retreat for a relaxed holiday away from home. For many children the stay on
our farm has been the highlight of their holiday. While guests are here, you
are treated as one of our family. |
